Ring pessary CALMONA
The CALMONA silicone ring pessary is a device used in the treatment of bladder hernia and rectal hernia of the 1-2 degree, as well as in urinary incontinence and lowering of the reproductive organs. The purpose of the pessary is to provide additional support for the pelvic organs and to restore the topographic and anatomical correlation between the pelvic organs.
The pessary is made of special flexible silicone that allows for easy application and removal. However, the biological neutrality of silicone tested by the Polish Center for Research and Certification ensures use without irritation and injuries.
The pessary is available in 11 sizes, with an external diameter ranging from 50 mm to 100 mm.

Applications of the CALMONA ring pessary:
- Conservative (non-surgical) correction of genital prolapse

- Drooping and prolapse of organs
CALMONA ring pessary - contraindications to use:
- allergic reactions to the material the pessary is made of
- relative: inflammatory diseases of the female pelvic organs, bleeding from the genital tract
Application and cleaning:
- After application, the pessary should not fall out when stretched, and should not cause difficulty in urination or pain in the vagina.
- Before re-use, the pessary should be washed under running water with detergent (liquid soap).
- When washing, you can use a soft brush.
- It is also necessary to apply an antiseptic solution for the skin and mucous membrane to the pessary for 1 minute and then rinse it again under running water.
