How to use dilators?

It is worth using dilators in accordance with the recommendations of a specialist, i.e. a gynecologist or a urogynecological physiotherapist.

1. Before application, you can moisten the vaginal entrance and the dilator itself with a water-based lubricant or gel.
2. Find a comfortable place and relax.
3. The exercises begin with taking a few deep breaths.
4. You can lie or sit. The position depends on your preferences.
5. You can start with the smallest dilator. If you can insert it without pain, you can choose a larger size. Leave the dilator in the vagina for a few minutes.
6. After training, the dilator should be washed.

What to do for pain during intercourse?

There are many reasons why sexual intercourse can be painful. One of them is a situation in which the vaginal muscles are tense and make penetration difficult.
