Gold-plated vaginal probe PERISPHERA-U 2-channel
PERISPHERA-U is a vaginal probe equipped with four electrodes: 2 side electrodes and 2 lower electrodes. The probe is designed for EMG stimulation or biofeedback. The long, flat shape of the probe is ideal for women who experience low vaginal prolapse or depression.
The PERISPHER-U probe has two current circuits, in other words 2 channels, made of electrodes. There are 2 large flat electrodes on the lower side for general stimulation of the pelvic floor or the puborectal muscles. On the other hand, the two saddle-shaped side electrodes are used for undifferentiated stimulation of the left and right branches of the pubococci. PERISPHERA-U probe electrodes are gold-plated with nickel-free technology, making them ideal for people allergic to nickel. Additionally, the presence of gold ensures good biostatic and biocompatible properties, therefore the probe is perfect for contact with mucous membranes.
Thanks to the "U" profile of the side electrodes, the probe adheres very well to the vaginal wall. This close contact with the mucous membranes allows for even more accurate information about the condition of the pelvic floor muscles during contraction of both branches of the pubococcal muscle when measuring the action potential (EMG).
The PERISPHERA-U probe allows for asymmetric and independent EMG stimulation or biofeedback training of both branches of the pubic-coccygeal muscle synchronously or asynchronously (alternately), depending on the apparatus and the selected treatment program.
In order to obtain optimal use of the probe, all 4 electrodes should be connected to a 2-channel electrostimulator, whereby two lower electrodes are given symmetrical two-phase pulses, and two side electrodes are two-phase asymmetric pulses (e.g. evoStim-UG device).

Cleaning and hygiene:
After each use, the probe should be washed with mild soap and water. If necessary, the probe can be disinfected with alcohol and rinsed with water before use. The probe should not be sterilized. The probe is intended for personal use. After 60 sessions, if there is a need for further use, the probe should be replaced with a new one.
