Gold-plated vaginal probe PERISPHERA-H 2-channel

PERISPHERA-H is a vaginal probe equipped with four radially arranged oval electrodes. The probe is designed for EMG stimulation or biofeedback. The probe is recommended mainly for asymmetric perineal muscles following an incision or injury to the perineum.

The PERISPHERA-H probe has 2 electric circuits consisting of 4 radially arranged electrodes. Their purpose is to deliver current pulses to the vaginal mucosa. The current flowing between the electrodes creates a stimulus that affects the perivaginal muscles. The PERISPHERA-H probe electrodes are gold-plated with nickel-free technology, making them ideal for people allergic to nickel. Additionally, the presence of gold ensures good biostatic and biocompatible properties, therefore the probe is perfect for contact with mucous membranes.

Thanks to the H-profile, i.e. the radial arrangement of the electrodes, the probe perfectly fits the vaginal cross-section. This close contact with the mucous membranes allows for even more accurate information on the condition of the pelvic floor muscles during contraction of both branches of the pubococcal muscle when measuring the action potential (EMG).

The PERISPHERA-H probe allows for asymmetric and independent EMG stimulation or biofeedback training of both branches of the pubic-coccygeal muscle synchronously or asynchronously (alternately), depending on the apparatus and the selected treatment program.

Cleaning and hygiene:

After each use, the probe should be washed with mild soap and water. If necessary, the probe can be disinfected with alcohol and rinsed with water before use. The probe should not be sterilized. The probe is intended for personal use. After 60 sessions, if there is a need for further use, the probe should be replaced with a new one.
